Builders of Europe's largest casino went on strike

According to information from the Cypriot trade union association SEK, on November 11, the builders of the City of Dreams casino in Limassol did not go to work. The construction of the largest gambling facility on the European continent has been suspended due to a strike due to delayed wage payments.
In an interview with the Cyprus Mail, Panicos Cadiz, a trade union representative, indicated that the delay had been going on for several months. According to him, people are forced to take such measures, since most of them have nothing to pay for housing and utilities.
Builder J&P Avax responded promptly to what was happening, promising to pay off the debts by the end of the current day.
It is worth recalling that the City of Dreams Mediterranean, a multi-functional casino resort, should open in 2021 . About 500 million euros have been allocated for the implementation of this project. According to preliminary calculations, two years after the opening, the resort will be able to generate about 700 million euros per year.
Recall that the shares of gambling operators ambiguouslyreacted to the new vaccine against Covid-19.
