Crimean authorities approved plans for the construction ofgambling zone on the peninsula. The Investment Council approved the project worth 3 billion rubles. Dmitry Kudryavtsev, a public representative of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the region in the area of New Business, told journalists about this.
He specified that they plan to build a five-star hotel with a casino by 2024. A little less than 15 hectares were allocated for the construction of an entertainment complex in the territory of the Katsiveli village. According to the authorities, the project will pay off in 8 years.
According to Kudryavtsev, the authorities have already found an investor and the documents will be signed before the end of 2019. The name of the company is kept secret to insure its owners from being included in the sanctions list. However, it is reported that the contractor has already worked on the territory of the Crimea and was engaged in the reconstruction of buildings.
