Casinos in the Russian gambling zone Krasnaya Polyana were closed at the request of the chief sanitary doctor of the Krasnodar Territory. The establishments stopped working on March 26, Olga Filipenkova, director of strategic development of the resort, announced this.

The same restrictions apply to the large shopping and entertainment center Gorky Mall and SPA complexes located in hotels in the resort.

The order of the regional authorities was issued a day before the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation on measures to counteract the spread of infection in the country. It also contains recommendations to suspend the operation of resorts, sanatoriums and other public recreation facilities until June 1, 2020 and calls on citizens to limit tourist trips in the near future.
