The winner of the Main Event of the third tournament of the Amber Poker Championship series Damir Shabaev became the owner of a cash prize in the amount of 955,000 rubles. This is the largest award in the history of the event, which is held in the Kaliningrad casino Sobranie.

The tournament was held from March 7 to March 15, 2020 on the territory of the Yantarnaya gambling zone with the support of the Pokerdom poker room. The declared guaranteed prize fund amounted to 10 million rubles, of which 2.75 million were planned to be played in the Main Event. However, due to the popularity of the event among poker players, the Main Event guarantee was exceeded one and a half times and broke the bar of 4 million rubles. Almost a million rubles of this amount went to the winner Damir Shabaev from the city of Bavly, the Republic of Tatarstan.

The top 9 players of the Main Event also included 4 representatives of the Kaliningrad region, poker players from Rostov-on-Don, Vladimir and Tambov. The wide geography of participants is explained by the varied program of the tournament, democratic buy-ins and large guarantees. The prize funds of two more Kaliningrad Cup and Pokerdom Cup events exceeded 1 million rubles.
