A well-known Ukrainian political scientist Anton Kuchukhidze in his interview spoke about the future of the gambling market in Ukraine. According to the expert, operators who nevertheless decide to work on the local market will be under tremendous pressure.

Kuchukhidze notes that today the positions of the shadow sector of gambling entertainment in Ukraine remain very strong, despite the legalization and mass struggle against illegal casinos. He is sure that the shadow representatives of the industry will fight to the last for their business, starting the process of "demonization of the legal sphere".

Kuchukhidze says that after the official launch of the gambling market in Ukraine, a real war of shadow and official operators will begin. The former will adopt paid-for media, whose task will be to create a negative information field around legal companies in order to discriminate against the industry and earn extra money.

The expert is sure that in such a situation, the only option to counteract will be the joint work of the state, the regulator and business .
