CompanyMicrogaming has announced its support for German gambling online game rules. In addition, one of the world leaders in the gambling industry confirmed its readiness to provide its customers with solutions designed to prepare them for the new rules.

Recall that the German government intends to introduce a licensing regime for online slots for commercial operators. At the heart of the plan is the introduction of a number of new measures aimed at promoting social responsibility and minimizing the harm associated with gambling.

The guidelines of the updated law include a five-second interval between reel spins, monthly deposit limits and a maximum betting limit. All online gaming products must be in German.

The new rules will officially come into effect in July 2021, after which the licensing process will follow. At the same time, a transitional tolerance policy will be in place, under which operators can interact with the German market, subject to the adoption of new regulatory measures. Those who ignore the rules will not be admitted to the official licensing procedure.

By October 15, Microgaming will launch the platform in full compliance with the German tolerance regime. It will allow customers to be technically ready to enter the German gambling market.

The company has confirmed that over 150 slot titles will be available to local players, including Book of Oz (Triple Edge Studios), 9 Masks of Fire (Gameburger Studios) and Bonanza (Big Time Gaming).
