A new authorized body was created in the segment of the gambling business of Ukraine — the Ukrainian Gambling Council ). Its founder is the head of the country's gambling association Anton Kuchukhidze. The relevant information is posted on the functionary's official page on the social network Facebook.

The main goal of the new department is to unite the organizers of gambling entertainment, various specialized departments and various organizations in the social sphere in order to have a positive effect on the developing gambling business in Ukraine.

Commenting on his initiative, the functionary noted that this project is far from being the first in the field of gambling. “This practice, which is based on the consolidation of the efforts of various structures in the gambling sector, has been successfully implemented in a number of foreign countries. It cannot be called an innovation. There are plenty of examples from Europe,” added Kuchukhidze.

The founder of the Ukrainian Gambling Council also said that one of the most important tasks of the approved body will be the creation of correct and effective communication of the industry with media representatives and institutions of the highest state power. Kuchukhidze believes that the Council will be able to form a "single adequate voice", which will become an authoritative opinion for the majority of citizens.

Earlier, Anton Kuchukhidze assessed the current state of affairs in the gambling business in Ukraine. In his opinion, the Ukrainian gambling industry should take an example from the development model of this sector in the UK.

According to the expert, the British scheme promotes the transparency of the work of any operator, its desire to openly discuss with citizens and government agencies, promoting a responsible approach to business. He noted that for Ukrainian realities such an approach is not currently a method of interaction, so the majority of Ukrainians are skeptical about the legalization of the gambling business. 688
