The official website of the regulator of gambling and lotteries of Ukraine announced that the authority was forced to reject all received him applications for gambling licenses. The main reason for the refusal was the incorrect execution of the required package of documents.

According to the information, at the moment, five companies have submitted documents for obtaining licenses to organize and conduct gambling in the casino. They were Gamedev LLC, Fan Game LLC, Spaceix LLC, Imperia Azart and Volna 4444. The first three specialize in online gambling, while the other two represent the land-based sector.

It is worth noting that earlier the head of the Ukrainian Gambling Association, Anton Kuchukhidze, confirmed the information that about 20 gambling operators showed interest in the Ukrainian market. Moreover, according to the expert, approximately 20% of the total number of applicants are large representatives of the gambling business who have successful experience in many countries around the world.

At the same time, he once again noted the imperfection of tax legislation, which can become the main stumbling block for the full-fledged launch of the gambling entertainment industry. As you know, the Ukrainian authorities have not yet considered the necessary amendments to the Tax Code, establishing clear rates for operators.

Multiple discussions continue around this issue. A number of parliamentarians insist on completely exempting gambling companies from taxation for the first four years of operation. In their opinion, such a step will attract large investors and leading casino operators to Ukraine.
