An expert in the field of gambling business in the CIS countries Anton Kuchukhidze gave his assessment of the current development gambling entertainment sector in Ukraine. He outlined his observations in an interview with local media.

Thus, Anton noted that the legalization of gambling in Ukraine will allow the state, in addition to developing a full-scale process of combating the shadow economy, to reach a qualitatively new technological level. He is sure that even in the context of a total pandemic, the treasury of Ukraine will receive income from online gambling in the form of license fees and tax deductions.

In addition, Kuchukhidze expressed his confidence that the recently created gambling regulator in Ukraine will be able to organize an appropriate level of security in land-based casinos if the coronavirus pandemic continues. As an example, he cited the British model of the current work of gambling establishments, where the implementation of special sanitary control measures is given priority.

Kuchukhidze confirmed the positive forecasts of financiers regarding the positive impact of the legalization of gambling on the Ukrainian treasury. In order to implement these plans, in his opinion, it is enough for the authorities to adopt one of the effective foreign schemes by implementing it in Ukraine.
