Swedish regulator fines four online casinos $2 million

Snabbare got the largest fines - 9.5 million kroner (about $981 thousand), ComeOn - 6 million Swedish crowns (about $620 thousand), and Hajper will pay 4.5 million crowns (about $465 thousand). Legolas Invest suffered the least - they will pay only 100 thousand crowns (about $10 thousand).

After issuing the fines, the department stated that now the companies have taken measures to work in accordance with the laws of Sweden.

Earlier, the department spoke about the success of the gambling industry in Sweden. According to the authorities, the net profit of the industry for the second quarter of 2019 amounted to 6.41 billion Swedish kronor (about $662 million). This is 2% more than in the first quarter. Most of the revenue was generated by online games — 3.45 billion crowns (about $356 million).
