In May 2020, a new casino will be built in the Siberian Coin gambling zone. This was told to Kommersant by the head of the regional department for the development of tourism and resort activities Evgeny Deshevykh. According to him, the investor has already approved the project implementation plan.

Currently, there is only one casino on the territory of the Siberian Coin IRZ —Altai Palace, but its work has been suspended due to the outbreak of coronavirus infection. Whether the pandemic will affect the timing of the construction of a new gambling establishment is still unclear.

Information about the construction of the second casinoappeared in September 2019. Its construction will be carried out by Zolotaya Swallow LLC, and the total cost of the facility will be 3.6 billion rubles. At the first stage, a new slot hall with 300 slot machines and 10 tables for table games will appear in the Siberian Coin. At the second stage, it is planned to build a hotel with 150 rooms.

In a conversation with Kommersant, Alexei Sakvarelidze, co-investor of the project, specified that the hotel would operate under the brand name of one of the international franchises. He did not give details, but stated that "the agreements have already been reached."
