According to the report of the Commission on Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRAIL) of Ukraine, Ukrainian gambling was awarded to Premier Palace Casino LLC. Its large-scale activities will unfold on the basis of the most prestigious five-star hotel in Kyiv Premier Palace. The licensee sent UAH 72 million established by the current legislation to the state budget for the relevant permission from the regulator.

It is important to note that earlier Casino Premier Palace LLC had already received the right to open a casino, a slot machine hall and sports betting point.

In the Premier Palace Hotel, the organizer will place gaming halls on a total area of ​​1093.24 square meters. Tables for card entertainment, vending machines and other specialized equipment will be located on the first and basement floors of an elite hotel complex.

Note that 72 million hryvnia, which the Ukrainian budget received from the Premier Palace Casino LLC company as a payment for the CRAIL gambling license, is only a small part of the total amount of funds planned to be raised from the gambling industry in 2021.

At the end of last year, Boris Baum, deputy head of the Advisory and Expert Council of the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission, argued that the tax plan for the sphere of domestic gambling includes a figure of income in the amount of 7.4 billion hryvnia.

However, as of mid-July, the gambling business of Ukraine sent less than 1 billion in domestic currency to the state budget. According to some data, at the moment this figure is about 900 million hryvnia, and according to others - only 723 million. of positive dynamics in the adoption by the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of amendments to the Tax Code and its separate provisions regulating the work of the gambling business in Ukraine.
