Curaçao Government intends to tighten gambling regulations. This was stated by Minister of Finance Kenneth Geisbertha. The official said that gambling has huge potential for growth, which can become a solid pillar for the local economy.

According to the head of the Ministry of Finance of Curacao, the gambling industry needs additional control. Such a statement may mean that the authorities intend to independently regulate the profitable area to generate additional revenue and increase the value of the license.

The gambling sector of Curacao has been operating for over 25 years. Permits are issued by four government-issued master license organizations: Curacao eGaming, Antillephone, Gaming Curacao, and e-Management N.V. To date,Curaçao license is one of the most common in Russian-language online casinos, since regulators do not impose special requirements on operators and almost do not control their work after issuing a permit. 690
