The French online gambling sector has begun to recover from the crisis

The French online gambling market has recovered after a long decline caused by the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, industry revenue in the third quarter of 2020 increased by 17.1%.
Total revenue increased to €405m (£361.5m/$482.2m). Compared to the same period in the second quarter, this figure showed an increase of 25.4%.
The country's gambling regulator L'Autorité nationale des jeux (ANJ) called this data an "impressive recovery." It is also worth noting that the process of growth in financial indicators was accompanied by an increase in active accounts of players by 29.3% (up to €2.7 million).
Despite the slight stabilization of the situation with the spread of the coronavirus, the head of the regulator, Isabelle Falk-Pierrotin, warned that the agency expects enhanced measures from licensees to protect players.
"The recovery of the online gambling market must be accompanied by greater responsibility of operators" she said.
As a reminder, citizens of Nevada are being urged tostay away from casinos to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
