Yggdrasil provider introduced new game mechanics in Lucky Neko Gigablox slot machine
The companyYggdrasil introduced the slot machineLucky Neko Gigablox with new Gigablox mechanics. The slot is designed in traditional Japanese style and has a 6x4 playing field with 40 paylines. The reel sizes are converted every spin, making gigablocks ranging from 2x2 to 4x4.
Free spins are triggered when 5 or more Lucky Cat symbols appear. Each of them brings one free spin. During a series of free spins, the orientation of the playing field changes to portrait, and its dimensions increase to a 6x8 grid. Also, the number of paylines increases - up to 85. The new appearance of the Lucky Cat sign adds one free spin.
One symbol is randomly determined before the bonus starts. All payouts with the selected symbol receive an additional x5 multiplier until the end of the bonus game. In the free spins mode, a 6×6 gigablock can drop out.
Gigablox is the third new slot game mechanic released byYggdrasil. Splitz and MultiMax were previously featured in the MultiFly slot.
Jonas Strandman, Senior Product Strategist at Yggdrasil, stated, “We continue to drive innovation in the gaming industry and can't wait to see how the Gigablox mechanics will be accepted by our players worldwide."
